Summer Sports Event 2022 was a huge success. We were delighted to be able to hold the event for the first time in three years. Despite heavy rain first thing in the morning, we were able to go ahead, and indeed, enjoyed an afternoon of warm sunshine. The day kicked off with the school pipe band leading out all pupils and staff in their house groups around the track before the Sports Event was officially opened.

There was something for everyone to enjoy, with a wide range of activities, including the very popular ‘Sponge the Teacher’, which raised £281 for charity. Huge thanks got to our sponsors, and to our team of staff who put this together, with a very special mention for Ms Jen McWilliam, Head of the Health Faculty, whose leadership in putting this event together was quite inspirational.
