Thank you to our Friarsfield captains who, in recognition of Black History Month, have produced and compiled a range of informative presentations, videos and and activities to be shared each morning during tutorial time this week, to help us understand and celebrate the contribution black people have had on our culture and society. These include ‘Black Britons who paved the way‘, ‘Diversity and Parliment‘, and ‘Aberdeen’s Slavery Links‘.

This year’s theme for Black History Month is “Time for Change: Action Not Words”, calling on people to actively takle racism, reclaim Black history and ensure Black history is represented and celebrated all year round.
