Exam results are issued today (7th August), most of you have registered for a text result which will come through in the morning, but postal results will also arrive today. Don’t forget that text results may not all arrive at the same time – so don’t panic if you hear from a friend before you receive yours!
We do hope pupils get the grades they are expecting or better but no-one should panic if results are disappointing. Here’s a quick reminder of the advice given to Senior pupils before the summer break about the processes in school to support anyone who might need to re-plan their timetable or pathway:
Any S6 (leavers) with conditional university offers who have not received the results expected and wish to enquire about Post Results Service should come into school with their university offer letter on results day (today – Tuesday 7th August) or Wednesday 8th August at the latest.
Results queries and timetable changes
Any current pupil in new S5/S6 should wait until they return to school to discuss change of timetables. Faculty Principal Teachers will let you know on your return if they are applying to the Post Results Service.
